In July 2021, Steven Crowder began his career with Clemson Extension joining the Agronomy Program team filling the role as the County Agent for Allendale and Hampton Counties.
He graduated in May 2021 from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanization. Originally from a family farm in Greenwood County, he grew up showing livestock, including sheep, goats, swine, and dairy cows. He also helped family members in row crops such as corn, soybeans, and wheat.
Steven hopes to be able to establish good communication with local farmers that leads to more productive farming.
