Purpose: To distinguish and honor members of our association who exemplify and promote the professionalism and standards of our association.
The honoree is one who consistently has demonstrated both skills and positive attitude in carrying out their day to day job duties. Who strives to maintain and improve working relationships with other administrative professionals as well as Extension Administration and staff. One whose participation in the South Carolina Association of Extension Administrative Professionals has been of encouragement and support to all administrative staff.
Criteria: Must have been a member of the South Carolina Association of Extension Administrative Professionals at least 3 years prior to receiving the award.
Selection: Selection of the President’s Shining Light Award will be decided by the President of SCAEAP for that award year. Nominations are welcomed by current board members. While it is encouraged to be awarded yearly, it is at the discretion of the current serving president of SCAEAP.
Award: Will consist of crystal engraved vase and $100 monetary award.
