The 2023 Edisto Peanut Field Day is scheduled for Thursday, September 7th. Registration will begin at 8:00 am, with the field tour starting at 9:00 am and running until noon, followed by a catered lunch. Clemson University specialists will present results and information on Agriculture Technology in Peanuts, Weed Control, Current and New Varieties, Runner Maturity, Irrigation, Economics, and Cover Crops. The field day is a great opportunity to discuss management and questions or ideas for future work.
Continuing Education Units and Pesticide Recertification Credits will be offered. The Edisto Research and Education Center is located at 64 Research Road, Blackville, SC 29817 off of U.S. Hwy 78, 2.5 miles west of downtown Blackville and just a short ways east of Elko.
