Southeastern Resilient Forest of North America

About The Project

The Project

We aim to promote climate-smart and resilient forestry in the Southeastern United States. Our collaboration includes three southeastern states: Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. The goal is to expand climate-smart forestry education across all 13 southeastern states.

Funding and Support

Supported by funding from USDA NIFA Project Award 2023-67022-39531, we’re integrating and amplifying the efforts of individual states to address climate change through sustainable forestry practices, offering a unified approach to education, research, and policy advocacy in the region.
