French Language for International Business

April 8, 2020

French 4160 for International Business will be offered in the Fall 2020. Students will study the language of international business and commerce in the French-speaking world (North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe).

The course also serves as a preparation for the Diplome de francais des affaires granted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris with whom Clemson University has signed a Convention of Cooperation. This diploma is well recognized internationally on the job market.

Given the presence of French companies in the Automobile industry and in Bioengineering in South Carolina, this diploma can be of interest to students interested in working for Michelin, Schneider, Saint-Gobain or Faurecia to name a few. A minimum of two years of French would be necessary to take the course, or by consent based on the student’s ability in the language.

To take the course, students should have a minimum of 2 years of French.
