We’re excited to invite you to [The First ASHRAE Region IV Student Summit], which will be held at Clemson University, Nov. 13-14, 2025, as shown in the flyer below. This two-day event is designed to be hybrid — in person for ASHRAE Region IV university students (South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia) and virtual for Global ASHRAE members. It will bring together students, faculty, and industry professionals to explore the latest progress on sustainability, building technologies, and HVAC systems and open doors to internships, research collaborations, and careers.
The Summit will feature educational sessions, a student research competition by pitch-talk, and a career fair. More specifically, the student pitch competition for $5,000 research grants is open to any ASHRAE Region IV university students (In Person Only). Participants may compete as an individual or as a team (Max. 3 people per team). More details are provided on the event website (https://region4.ashraeregions.org/StudentSummit.html).
For our CECAS students, there are more than 20 ASHRAE Society Scholarships available, as listed in the attached PDF. If you are interested in applying, the Clemson ASHRAE branch will fully support you throughout the application process. As the host institute, we are seeking approximately 12 student volunteers to help in a variety of areas, including: Check-in Desk, Room setup, Poster session stewards, Photography & video, Help desk and Sponsor hospitality.
