It’s game day in Clemson, South Carolina and the University took this week to honor all veterans, past and present, through Military Appreciation week, which all accumulated into one final tailgate, parade and halftime show. The tailgate drew a lot of familiar faces as well as a few new ones, and gave a chance for current Cadets to speak to alumni about their past experiences. Every year the tailgate is a great success and this year might have been one of the best. Clemson Army ROTC had the privilege of having Brigadier General Chamberlain come and take time out of his schedule to speak to Cadets, and for that the Fightin’ Tiger Battalion is incredibly grateful. About an hour before kick off the Air Force and Army ROTC programs lined up and marched down to the stadium to the applause and appreciation from 80,000+ Clemson fans. We hope all Clemson military alumni can make it out next year and what we hope to be a very successful repeat performance.
