On December 4th Clemson’s Fightin’ Tiger Battalion conducted its final lab for the semester, Sports Day. Both Alpha and Bravo Companies competed in games such as kickball to football. The lab helped to wrap up a successful semester for Clemson Army ROTC. Cadets where recognized for high PT test scores and High GPAs. Another recognition that was unique to this sports day lab was an Honorary Sergeant Major. Mike Money the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Game Management was recognized for his service and support of Army ROTC. Some of his duties include scheduling the events for military appreciation day (MAD). Mike Money, in his acceptance speech, talked of how he would like to make Clemson’s MAD the largest across the nation. He has done a great job with making this year’s MAD game one hard to forget; from the fly overs to the jumping in of a past Special Forces Soldiers. Mike Money has done an amazing job supporting the Fightin’ tiger Battalion and his award was well deserved.
