Favorite question on a tour: “Why is living on campus for freshman year required?” I love when people ask me this question because I am able to explain to them that not only does Clemson want students to be on campus their first year so they can be plugged in and have the convenience of walking, but also that even though it sounds like a requirement, it’s a privilege. Living on campus is one of the greatest opportunities I have had during my time here; it enriches every part of my Clemson experience.

Advice for jumping into college life: The best advice I have to jump into college life is to say ‘yes’ to opportunities. Whether that’s hanging out with a friend, applying for an organization, or taking a leadership position, learn to say yes— college is only four years!
Advice on how to choose a college: When making your decision for where to go to college, my best advice would be to pay very close attention to how you feel inside when you are touring each school. Academics, athletics, involvement, etc. are so important, but in the end you want your college to feel like home!!
Fun fact about yourself: I live on a farm, and I have cats, dogs, horses, chickens, a donkey, and a peacock!
