Jack Bishop

Name: Jack Bishop

Hometown: Scottsdale, Arizona

Major: Marketing

Favorite place for lunch on campus or in town: You can find me at least once a week at Loose Change, the best place to eat on campus!

Favorite spot on campus: Doug Kingsmore Stadium, where our baseball team plays, is at the edge of campus and is the absolute best place to spend a day.

Favorite question on a tour: “Is the reflection pond safe to swim in?” Personally, I haven’t had the courage to hop in there. I have seen people do it, but I don’t envy them very much.

Clubs and Organizations you are involved in on campus: Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity

Hobbies: Working out, running, golfing, and watching an unhealthy amount of NFL football

Advice for jumping into college life: Talk to people! I know it seems scary at times to get out of your comfort zone, but freshman year is when absolutely everyone is trying to make new friends. Don’t be afraid to say hi to everyone you pass on your hall, they will appreciate it too!

Advice on how to choose a college: Go where it feels like home! There are many factors to consider when choosing a school, but ultimately going with your gut and where it truly feels like home is the best advice I can give.

Fun fact about yourself: I’ve broken several bones in my face playing high school sports. Yes, I’m all better now BUT I highly recommend avoiding the experience if possible.
