Favorite question on a tour: Do I have to join Greek life to have a good college experience? Absolutely NOT…Greek life is one of various student organizations to get involved with on campus. I am not in Greek life, and it has not altered my college experience in any way!! What you put into these student organizations is what you’ll get from it. With so many organizations outside of Geek life, there are many opportunities to meet some amazing people and still have a fantastic college experience by hanging out with those people!
Clubs and Organizations you are involved in on campus: Clemson FCA, CUGA, Student Government, ITSAB, and Criminal Justice Club
Hobbies: competing in every intramural sport, binge-watching movies and tv shows, 3 am drives to waffle house and cookout, and hanging out with my friends!
Advice for jumping into college life: Go to Tigerprowl at the beginning of the year in August!! It is a giant market of student organizations where you can meet with each organization’s leaders to see which ones you want to join!! The more you get involved the better experiences you will gain during your time here!
Advice on how to choose a college: Pick a college that is going to be in your comfort zone where you will be free to be yourself…BUT a place that will challenge you in various ways to allow you to grow not only as a student but also as a person. You want to pick a place where you will leave with more than just a degree but experiences and connections that will last you a lifetime!
Fun fact about yourself: I have the most abnormal sleep schedule out of anyone you will ever meet.
