Favorite question on a tour: “Where’s the best place to shop for Clemson apparel?” You really can’t go wrong with anywhere downtown or our campus bookstore, but some of my favorites are TigerTown Graphics and Judge Keller’s! They have the best variety, sweetest staff, and it’s an amazing way to support some of our local businesses!
Clubs and Organizations you are involved in on campus: Clemson University Honors College, Pi Beta Phi, Volunteers4LIFE, Eta Sigma Gamma, FCA
Hobbies: I love spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and traveling!
Advice for jumping into college life: I know it can be overwhelming at first but my best piece of advice is to say “Yes!”. Get involved right away, meet new people, and try new things. I definitely had to step out of my comfort zone when I first got to campus, but freshman year is the best time to do it because everyone is new and in the same boat. Everyone is trying to find their place on campus and make new friends which makes it so fun!
Advice on how to choose a college: Go with your gut. For someone who over analyzes everything this is definitely easier said than done but think about your values and where you felt most comfortable. I once had someone tell me that your heart has already made the decision, your head just has to decide to listen to it which is so true. You’re going to land in the perfect place so go with what feels right and where you can see as your home away from home!
Fun fact about yourself: I lived abroad for two years!
