On 25 September 2014, ML 3 Cadets participated in the Combat Water Survival Training (CWST) lab in the Fike pool. Cadets engaged in multiple activities to test their water skills and ability to perform under pressure. The exercises consisted of a ten meter drop, an equipment removal while underwater, a fifteen meter equipment swim, and treading water and swimming for a certain amount of time. Cadets enjoyed the Army training and Cadet Vogel said, “CWST is always a unique experience each year and a fun time with my classmates.” The Fightin’ Tiger Battalion will conduct CWST again in the spring.
