Greetings fellow Tigers! What an exciting end to another amazing season for the Clemson University football team! On Monday night, our Tigers brought home the National Championship trophy, rolling over Alabama with a 44-16 win. It was an unforgettable night for the entire Clemson family! Our team’s hard work and perseverance was rewarded in this one amazing moment. You can view photos from the Clemson Alumni Tailgate, the Welcome to California and Legends of Clemson events and the National Championship game.

The national spotlight brings immense exposure to our University. The Empire State Building was even painted orange and purple following Clemson’s win on Monday night.
Clemson is continually ranked among the top public universities in the country. We are proud of our students, faculty and staff and the entire Clemson family for showing the nation what it means to be a Clemson Tiger! We are currently celebrating our Clemson football team and “Ring Season,” but for Clemson alumni, every day of the year is the perfect time to show your tiger pride. If you’ve lost your Clemson ring – or never ordered it – you can be a part of one of Clemson’s most cherished traditions by ordering your ring today.
We have so many reasons to celebrate – academically and athletically. Our University continues to be recognized and honored as we strive for excellence through our focus on research, engagement, the academic core and the living environment here at Clemson. You can show your appreciation and commitment to Clemson by making your annual gift. When you make your gift today, you will receive the 2019 Calendar, celebrating the beauty of Clemson through the seasons. As we look toward the next season, it’s your commitment to Clemson that will help make us stronger than ever!
B-Proud!
I know you all join me in sending our deepest congratulations and many thanks to our Clemson football players, coaches and staff! They have once again made our University proud, not only with their competitive spirit on the field, but also through their consistent display of character, sportsmanship and determination. These young men have achieved excellence on and off the field, and they have shown the entire nation what the Clemson family already knew – they are champions! I couldn’t be prouder to be a Clemson Tiger!

It’s when no one is looking that we can see the true character of our students. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence didn’t let the excitement of Monday night’s win in Santa Clara impact his sense of humility or appreciation for the Clemson family. As he was scrambling to get to the Clemson locker room to celebrate with his teammates, he encountered several fans eager to capture a moment with him. Read an article from Yahoo! Sports about Trevor’s special moments with Clemson fans after the national title victory.
The American Heart Association awarded Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney with the 2018 Paul “Bear” Bryant Award. The award – selected after all bowl games have concluded and is voted on by the National Sports Media Association – recognizes the country’s top college football coach for his contributions both on and off the field. Congratulations, Coach Swinney, on another much-deserved award!
