Lunch & Learn (If It is Measured, It Matters: Classroom Assessment Strategies)- March 12, 2026 @ 12:15 PM

Thursday, March 12 | 12:15–1:30 pm

This session demonstrates best practices for classroom assessment including evaluating student entrepreneurial mindset attainment. We will discuss best practices for assessment, tools available to the KEEN community through the COMPASS tool, designing assessment plans for a class or a module, and consideration of the data collection process. Using appropriate and intentional assessment strategies can help students more clearly see the value in their work and better understand what instructors prioritize and value through what they assess.

Registration information for each Lunch & Learn will be emailed to faculty prior to the event. We hope you’ll consider joining us for one or more of these sessions as we continue building a teachingcommunity grounded in curiosity, meaningful connections, and creating value for our students.

The CECAS Teaching Excellence team is excited to share our Spring Lunch & Learn offerings for this semester. These informal, interactive sessions are sponsored by KEEN and are designed to support teaching practices that align with the KEEN 3Cs—Curiosity, Connections, and Creating Value—while providing a space to learn from and with colleagues across the college.
