The three recipients of the 2016-2017 Michelin Annual Scholars for International Programs were celebrated at a private luncheon on October 11. Representatives from Michelin recruiting and HR joined Dean Anand Gramopadhye of the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences, and Dr. Taufiquar Khan, Professor of Mathematical Sciences and Chair of the CECAS Global Engagement Committee, to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients. Michelin established the Michelin Endowment for International Program Scholarships in 2011 to support students in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences who, in preparation for possible international internships and careers, are proficient in any foreign language.
