On October 5, representatives from Choate Construction Company, the College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities, and the Dept. of Construction Science and Management, gathered for a dinner at Sole on the Green restaurant to honor the fourteen 2016-2017 recipients of the Choate Family Scholarship and the Segars Family and Choate Family Scholarship. These scholarship endowments were established to recognize exceptional undergraduate students pursuing a degree in construction science and management at Clemson. Millard Choate, President and CEO of Choate Construction Company, and Goz Segars, President of Segars Development, are industry leaders and have generously supported Clemson students through supporting the next generation of talent.
