Clemson HFES has 30 student members and 10 faculty members from Human Factors Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering and the School of Computing. We have been rated a “Gold Chapter” by the National HFES for the past 8 years.
Human Factors and Ergonomics is the science of understanding human capabilities and limitations, which can be applied to the design of systems and technologies.
We are a group of students, faculty, alumni, and HF professionals who are passionate about finding ways to improve how people interact with products and technology.
Our organization is a local chapter of the national Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) maintained by students at Clemson University, Clemson, SC. Our chapter’s Facebook page is facebook.com/CUHFES.
