Clemson computer engineering doctoral students Guangyu Yang and Sufeng Niu were selected as finalists for the first Bell Labs Prize. Designed to provide motivation and incentive to drive disruptive innovation, the Bell Labs Prize recognizes proposals that “change the game” in the field of information and communications technologies by a factor of 10. Guangyu and Sufeng were among seven finalists chosen to present their ideas to panel of judges, from a field of almost 500 applicants.
