Congratulations to Kathryn Peruski on being selected for the Hitachi High Technologies Electron Microscopy Graduate Fellowship Award. This is a $20,000 non-renewable one-year award to a Clemson graduate student utilizing electron microscopy. Kathryn is a PhD student in Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences working with Dr. Brian Powell, and she has used the microscopes to capture the miniscule fragmenting of neptunium.
