Attend the third annual Pro Benefits EXPO Oct. 11

Office of Human Resources to hold third annual Pro Benefits EXPO Oct. 11; planned visits for off-campus employees

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) will host the third annual Pro Benefits EXPO from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Hendrix Student Center. The expo will showcase the various programs available to faculty and staff in their employee benefits package. Attendees of this drop-in event will gain tips on how to better leverage available benefits.

“We know faculty and staff are busy,” said Lisa Gagnon, director of Workforce Benefits and Wellbeing. “But taking just 30 minutes to swing by the booths, get a flu shot and speak with a benefits counselor can provide important information on what’s going on with your benefits. It’s certainly worthwhile to learn about the new programs premiering, and to accommodate schedules around teaching and meetings, some of the morning facilitated educational sessions are offered again in the afternoon.”

With the state insurance open enrollment period running throughout October, the expo is a great opportunity to discuss your benefits questions with one of the many OHR benefits counselors on staff. Attendees can make sure they are taking advantage of all their benefits, from the state insurance options to discounts at local restaurants.
