Change to leave pool offers greater flexibility

As of July 1, 2016, Clemson University employees can donate sick and/or annual leave to specific Clemson University employees providing both the donor and the recipient meet eligibility requirements established by the state.

Through its history, the leave pool program has helped hundreds of employees throughout the state. In the past, donors surrendered control of their donation and did not know the specific employee their donation was helping. The change allows donors to donate leave directly to eligible Clemson University colleagues.
