Clemson University’s Air Force ROTC will host the 6th Annual Doug Harris Memorial Trail Run at 9 a.m. Saturday April 5 on the Issaqueena Lake Trails. Participants can choose to run either the 5K or the 10K. The cost of the 5K is $20 and the 10K is $25. Each participate will receive a t-shirt the day of the run. Click here to sign up. Named in honor of Jerry Douglas Harris III who was a freshman AFROTC cadet at Clemson when he was tragically killed by a drunk driver in the fall of 2006, all proceeds from this race benefit the Doug Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, the Doug Harris Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a current Air Force ROTC cadet who best exemplifies the heart, drive, and self-motivation to realize their full potential in the Air Force ROTC program and receive an Officer’s Commission.
