CURF launches new invention disclosure process, effective July 1, 2015

Beginning July 1, 2015, the Clemson University Research Foundation (CURF) will transition the Confidential Invention Disclosure Form (CIDF) to a web-based disclosure system (Inventor Portal) for disclosing inventions to the CURF office for commercial evaluation and processing.  The current pdf disclosure form will not be accepted for submission after June 30, 2015.

The benefit of the new electronic submission through Inventor Portal is that the Inventor(s) will be able to save and edit the CIDF and upload supporting documents, photos, designs, etc., prior to submitting the CIDF. Inventor Portal’s enhanced communication capability also allows for the Inventor(s) to communicate directly with the assigned Technology Commercialization Officer regarding the disclosed invention and supporting materials.
