The Center of Excellence, which promotes discovery and innovation through cutting-edge technologies and services, has announced its 2016 Digital Creativity Faculty Program. And it invites faculty to participate. The program is essentially designed to foster educational practices and drive Clemson towards its 2020Forward goal of offering an exceptional educational experience and building tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.

Ample benefits await program participants. Faculty in multiple departments can share digital creativity ideas and best practices. Moreover, program participants are granted access to the Adobe digital studio, located in Cooper library, to showcase their work and that of their students.

The program culminates with the November 2016 Adobe eduMAX convention in San Diego, where participants will present their work. The Center of Excellence will provide financial support to attend the convention.

Faculty members from all departments are encouraged to apply. No experience with Adobe’s Creative Software is necessary. Applicants should include a brief description of how they plan to incorporate digital creativity into their curriculum. Also, include a Spring syllabus that shows in more detail how digital creativity is incorporated into the applicant’s teaching. Applications will be peer reviewed by a committee of Clemson students, chaired by a representative from Adobe education. Those selected will be notified via email in mid-December.

Click here to apply by the Dec. 10 deadline.
