Communications and engagement. Those are two very important goals this year for the Clemson University Faculty Senate. The Senate seeks to improve communications with its constituents and to encourage conversations between the Senate and faculty.
One way to make that happen is through the use of social media. Toward that end, the Senate will use Twitter and Facebook to make announcements, provide important information to the faculty, gather faculty feedback regarding Senate initiatives, and promote a healthy Clemson community. The Senate Facebook page will feature announcements, polls, giveaways, and photos from past Senate events. The Faculty Senate will use its Twitter account (@FacSenPrez) to provide important updates to faculty members.
