To communicate hazards and ensure chemical safety in the workplace, the Office of Research Safety is providing hazard communications training online.
University employees who work with hazardous chemicals should take this training. The HAZCOM standard does not apply to office personnel, employees whose jobs do not involve potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, or to lab employees who are covered under the Chemical Hygiene Standard.

Training must be completed by Dec. 1, 2013.
