Lee Brice returns to Clemson on his “Campus Consciousness Tour”

LeeArtist and producer Lee Brice, a Sumter and former Clemson football player, brings his “Campus Consciousness Tour” to Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday, April 11, with fiddle-fueled Natalie Stovall & The Drive and Southern rocker Lewis Brice.

Lee Brice, who notched a No. 1 debut for his album “I Don’t Dance” and was the first country artist to secure an RIAA platinum single certification with the album’s title track, says he’s looking forward to returning to Clemson.

“I’m so excited about this one,” he said. “Clemson has always been so supportive of me so coming back to play on campus for such a great cause was an easy choice. Being in my home state and having Natalie and Lewis along to open is just icing on the cake.”

Tickets are available now at the Hendrix Student Center Guest Services Desk and online at Ticketmaster.com.

ABOUT LEE BRICE:

Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” (Curb Records) marked his first No. 1 Billboard Country debut and highest-ever bow on the Billboard 200. Along with the smash success of the album’s title track — which is nominated for ACM’s 2015 “Single Record of the Year” and reached No. 1 at country radio — the “evocative, rough-edged singer” (The New York Times), whose music is “impossible to pigeonhole” (CMT), recorded his third studio album in Nashville, writing and producing 13 of the deluxe edition’s 16 songs and playing almost every instrument.

“Nobody in Nashville writes better love songs right now than Brice,” according to USA Today.  Brice celebrated the album’s massive release week with performances on “Today” and “Late Night with David Letterman.” He teamed up with Luke Bryan for two sold-out shows in New York, including a performance at Madison Square Garden, where “Today” host Hoda Kotb surprised Brice onstage with a career milestone plaque recognizing “I Don’t Dance” as the year’s fastest-rising RIAA platinum-certified country single. For more on Lee, visit leebrice.com and follow him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
