Construction to impact some parking spaces along Daniel Drive

As progress continues on the Douthit Hills project, some employee and commuter spaces west of Clemson House will be lost, beginning Monday, Dec. 14.

But there are still parking options. Employee parking and metered parking on Daniel Drive east of Clemson House will remain. In addition to the employee spaces available as part of a lease agreement with Holy Trinity Church, Parking and Transportation Services officials say that more spaces will be offered at the church to offset the loss of parking spots on Daniel Drive.

For those who can’t find parking on Daniel Drive or at the church, try parking at the E21 lot, located at the intersection of Cherry and Perimeter Roads. The Wren shuttle picks up passengers there every 15 minutes and will transport them to the intersection of Sherman Street and S.C. Highway 93.

Visitors Center impacts

Beginning Monday, Jan. 4, The Visitors Center guest parking will be relocated offsite to Clemson Presbyterian Church located at 346 Old Greenville Highway. Visitors will be shuttled from that site to campus at the intersection of Sherman Street and S.C. Highway 93.

Metered parking at Union Drive

Beginning Wednesday, Jan 6, all metered parking on Union Drive (near the campus post office) will be absorbed into the Core Campus construction zone. However, the metered spaces on Ft. Hill Street will remain. Union Drive will be reduced to one lane with access limited to delivery, emergency, and service vehicles only.
