New travel reimbursement application available

By Angela Wiggins, Disbursements Manager

Clemson University Procurement continues to work to respond to feedback received regarding the travel process here at Clemson.  Last year, we made big changes to the travel reimbursement policy and for the past seven to eight months, CCIT has added its help by creating a new travel reimbursement application that will improve travel documentation and eliminate the burden of paper delivery in the reimbursement process.

This application was designed for mobile devices, but is also available online. For the past three months, select travelers have been testing, and after very positive feedback, we are happy to announce that the Travel Reimbursement application is now available to campus for use.  While it is not a final version (futures steps to fully automate the tool all the way through payment processing), it is a huge step in the direction away from the old paper, Excel-based travel reimbursement forms.

Be sure to review the Travel Quick Guide for links and procedures before using the application.
