Office of Human Resources announces new benefits for employees with military service

The Office of Human Resources is working with partners across the University to introduce new benefits for staff and faculty who are active military members or veterans. These benefits will include additional discounts on parking passes and meal plans, reduced-fee memberships to the Swann Fitness Center at Fike and discounted tickets for select 2019 Clemson football games. “Supporting the military members and veterans in the Clemson Family is a critical component of our continued pursuit of excellence,” said Director of Talent Acquisition Josh Brown. “We are thrilled to be able to offer these benefits as we extend our deepest gratitude to those who serve and have served our country.”

All new: Employee military discount for 2019 Clemson football games

To kick off the new benefits initiative, Clemson Athletics will offer discounted tickets to select games in the 2019 football season. To receive details and next steps for purchasing tickets, Clemson faculty and staff who are active military members and veterans must self-identify their military status with the Office of Human Resources by July 1, 2019. Faculty and staff may follow these instructions to verify or update their military status online. Please contact Ask-HR for assistance.

Additional military benefits coming soon

Details on additional 2019 benefits—including discounts on parking, meal plans, memberships to the Swann Fitness Center at Fike and more—will be communicated later this summer to employees who have self-identified their military status with the Office of Human Resources.
