Parking updates: Parking lot events; McGinty Circle; public hearing

Parking lot parties
Parking and Transportation Services, in conjunction with Clemson Dining Services and Aramark, will host a series of parking lot parties beginning Monday, Aug. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tents will be set at a different parking lot each day with information, food, and giveaways. Parking and Transportation Services will give away an iPad and an Enterprise Car Sharing membership while Dining Services will be giving away coupons and gift certificates to on campus eateries. McGinty Circle closed Aug. 21 for event

McGinty Circle will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 21 for the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences Welcome Back Student event. The circle will be reopened at the conclusion of the event.

Public hearing notice

City of Clemson/CAT will host a public hearing on Thursday, August 22 at 5 p.m. to discuss the planned service adjustments to campus transit routes. Click here to view more details.

Spaces on Calhoun Drive closed for event set ups

The 12 green spaces adjacent to Bowman field will be reserved for several event set ups beginning Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013. These closures will continue through Monday, Aug. 26.

Four spaces on Parkway Drive reserved for float construction

The four parking spaces on the west most end of Parkway Drive next to the President’s House will be reserved for float construction access. These spaces will be reserved beginning Friday, Aug. 23 and will remain closed through the conclusion of the First Friday Parade on Friday, Aug. 30.
