Parking/transit weekly updates: Nov. 6-13

Sidewalk Closed on Klugh Ave. Wednesday, Nov. 5
The sidewalk in front of the facilities building on Klugh Avenue, along with eight employee spaces and two carpool spaces, will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 5, for tree pruning work in the area. All areas are expected to be reopened by 3:30 p.m.

Ave. of Champions closed Friday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. for basketball games
The Avenue of Champions between Centennial Boulevard and Perimeter Road will be closed to traffic beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, for a basketball double-header. The Orange CAT bus route will be rerouted to avoid this closure beginning at 2 p.m. Click here to see a map.

Fike Lot (E-5) reserved after 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8
The Fike Lot (E-5) will be reserved after 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, for the men’s soccer match against Duke.

Calhoun Dr. closed for Staff Senate 5K Saturday, Nov. 9
Beginning on Friday, Nov. 8, the green spaces on Calhoun Drive between Tillman Hall and Sikes Hall will be reserved for the Staff Senate Sprint for Success 5K start/finish line. Sikes Hall parking lot will also be reserved for participant and spectator parking. All areas will reopen at the conclusion of the race Saturday morning. Click here for a map of the race route.

Aisles 1-3 of C-1 parking lot reserved Saturday, Nov. 9
Aisles 1 -3 in C1 parking lot will be reserved for an event Saturday, Nov. 9. The lot will be reserved beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, and will reopen upon conclusion of the event. If your vehicle is parked in Aisles 1-3 in the lot, please relocate it to a different aisle within the lot.

Increased Traffic around Hendrix Student Center Tuesday, Nov. 12
The Off-Campus Housing Fair will be held at Hendrix Student Center on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an increased number of vehicles and pedestrians in this area, so please be cautious and plan accordingly.

Towing begins at 6 p.m. from Brooks Center on Tuesday, Nov. 12
Tuesday, Nov. 12, the white spaces in C-11 at the Brooks Center will be reserved starting at 6 p.m. for Patron’s Row parking for the performance of Aladdin and Other Enchanting Tales. Any vehicles left in these spaces after 6 p.m. will be subject to tow.

Towed vehicles are available for pick up in the evening or weekends from the Clemson University Police Department. If you need a ride at night from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to the Police Department, call Tiger Transit (864-656-3333) for a ride. From 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, you may also get your car from Parking and Transportation Services.

GA Tech Football Game Day Impacts for Thursday, Nov. 14
All vehicles parked on campus in an IPTAY area must be relocated by 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, to avoid towing. Resident students are encouraged to relocate their vehicles beginning Saturday, Nov. 9, and be completely done by midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 13

On-Campus transit routes will cease operation at 1:30 p.m. Route deviations to Bryan Circle will begin at 2 p.m. on all other Clemson Area Transit routes to avoid downtown Clemson, Sikes Hall, and East Library Circle bus stops.

The Tiger Commute Route, connecting Clemson, Easley and Greenville, will be running an abbreviated schedule. The last bus leaving CU-ICAR will be at 12:30 p.m. The last bus leaving Clemson University will be at 1:30 p.m. There will be no change in schedule for the Tiger Connect route operating in Greenville.

Sheep Barn Lot Reserved Friday, Nov. 15
The Sheep Barn Lot will be reserved on Friday, Nov. 15, for a Will to Lead event. The lot will reopen at the conclusion of the event around 5 p.m.
