Public hearing notices
Clemson University Parking & Transportation Services, The Greenville Transit Authority, dba Greenlink, and the City of Clemson/CAT will host public hearings on various dates next week to outline the planned service adjustments to campus transit routes and proposed expansion of routes. Replace your parking permits
2012-2013 permits expire Thursday, August 15. Be sure to order your new 2013-2014 parking permit online at https://clemson.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth.aspx. All permits must be ordered online and they will be mailed to the address provided. No permits will be available for pick up in the Parking and Transportation Services Office. For those who are just renewing now,  there is a link set up upon purchase to print a 15 day “temporary” permit which must be displayed on the dash so that it is completely visible from the outside of your vehicle.

It’s official! Mell and Sirrine parking lots are open
The Mell Hall lot is open for use. Single space closures may still occur to assist in the completion of landscaping, but the lot is available for employee parking. The Sirrine Hall parking lot is also open. As a result of these openings, the West Campus Employee Shuttle will stop running on Thursday, Aug 15.

Zeta Theta Street remains closed
The entrance to C-1/R-5 parking lot, Zeta Theta St, is still closed. Due to the excessive rains which occurred on Saturday, progress has been set back slightly and crews are working diligently to get that entrance road repaired. The lot remains open during the day, but will continue to close nightly for safety reasons due to the lack of lighting within the lot. The East Campus shuttle will continue to run from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. daily until the road is repaired.

Cherry Road and Parkway Drive are scheduled to open Thursday
The construction on Cherry Road and Parkway Drive is coming to an end. Both roads will reopen Thursday, Aug. 15.

Reserved spots for recruiters
Recruiter spaces reopening in Hendrix Parking Lot. Metered spaces 54 – 60 in the Hendrix Parking Lot (E-1), will be reserved for recruiters beginning Thursday, August 15 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Beginning Thursday, these spaces will not be available for general metered parking. You must have a recruiter park permit to park legally within these spaces between 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day.
