SAVE THE DATE: Global Learning Institute for Faculty Feb. 23-24

The Clemson Global Learning Institute for Faculty, a ClemsonForward initiative, announces its inaugural symposium on innovative strategies to promote global learning for the 21st century student.

The event, to be held Feb. 23 and 24, will emphasize improving global learning for students throughout the curriculum. Sessions will explore models for global learning in campus-based classes and programs, service learning, collaborative online international learning (COIL), and study abroad programs.

Highlights include presentations from Clemson faculty engaged in innovative programming and invited speakers from ACE, AAC&U, Cornell University, Duke University and the Stevens Initiative. Participation in the full symposium will provide a 360-degree view of global learning in higher education today. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Faculty, staff, graduate students, study abroad leaders, and anyone interested in innovative global learning. Instructional faculty attending will be entered into a drawing to receive support for professional development in global learning.
