The Clemson Joint City-University Advisory Board (JCUAB) seeks nominations for the 2015 Abernathy-Cox One Clemson Awards, presented annually to one organization or group, and one individual whose accomplishments have served both Clemson University and the City of Clemson and have made a significant impact on both entities.
Any member of the city or university community may submit a written nomination for an individual, organization or both for awards, which must be received by Jan. 30. Nominations should be sent by email to Lindsey Newton at lnewton@cityofclemson.org ,or may be mailed to her attention at 1250 Tiger Blvd., Suite 1, Clemson, SC 29631.
Award criteria:
- The accomplishment must have served both the Clemson City and Clemson University communities.
- The accomplishment must be something that is ongoing or has made a significant impact to both entities in a single year.
- The efforts can be something that is completed through the course of their professional or volunteer activities.
- Supporting documentation can include but is not required such as letters of reference; certificate of recognition; etc.
The award will be presented at the annual State of Clemson Address hosted by the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce.
