Staff Development Program application period now open

Clemson’s Staff Development Program (SDP) is accepting applications for the 2017-18 year. Applicants must be in permanent, full-time positions and have at least three years of university service to be eligible for the program.

The SDP allows for up to 25 staff members to complete 150 hours of professional development, personal development and university involvement/service activities, as well as a core curriculum designed to further familiarize participants with the university and its operations. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a base salary increase. This program is one of many ways that the university is working toward attracting, retaining and rewarding top talent.

Participants work with their supervisors to develop a specific list of goals that benefit themselves and the university and a plan to achieve them. Participants will have approximately 10 months to complete their 150 hours of documented activities. Salary increases for successful completion of the program will take effect in July 2018.
