Sullivan Center to offer discounted physicals this summer

Clemson University employees can save more than $80 on a comprehensive physical exam at the Joseph F. Sullivan Center by signing up for a special physical this summer. The physicals will be available from June 24 until July 31.

The cost is $50, and only 50 slots are available. The physical includes a comprehensive health history, a physical exam including vision and hearing testing, urinalysis and hemoglobin, and an assessment of all major systems. Men will receive a prostate exam and women will receive a pelvic exam. (Pap smear is available for an additional fee.)

The provider will also recommend that you sign up for the CU4Health comprehensive health risk assessment at the same time, which is covered by the State Health Plan this year at no cost. CU4Health includes a health risk appraisal and labs (cholesterol, CBC and kidney function). You will receive a follow up appointment with a trained health educator to go over your lab results and wellness profile.

Registered nurses completing the Advanced Physical Assessment course at Clemson administer the physicals.

To reserve your appointment, call the Sullivan Center at 864-656-3076.

Located on the first floor of Edwards Hall on the Clemson campus, the Joseph F. Sullivan Center is a nurse-managed health center that provides student experience through health services to Clemson employees and community outreach programs to rural and underserved communities and individuals.
