Sullivan Center to offer employees CU4Health and CUFit assessments

This semester, Clemson’s Joseph F. Sullivan Center will offer employees the CU4Health health assessment program with a new feature – CUFit, a fitness assessment focused on leisure activities.

CU4Health is a comprehensive health assessment program that includes a health risk appraisal, lab work and a personalized health counseling session. The new online assessment is open to participants for one year after signing up, providing health information, activity tracking, and self-directed classes for intensive health topics. The cost is $15 for employees and significant others who are covered by the state health plans.

The CUFit fitness assessments will take place on Wednesdays at the Sullivan Center. Participants will have blood work and a fitness evaluation and then return for a personalized session with faculty and students from the parks, recreation and tourism management department to determine fitness goals. You must be a CU4Health participant to receive the CUFit assessment. Limited spaces are available for this activity.

The traditional CU4Health will also be more accessible this year. In collaboration with wellness partners at Fike Recreation Center’s Wellness Zone, CU4Health lab work will be available on the following Mondays this fall:

  • Sept. 1 from 8-10 a.m.
  • Oct. 6 from 8-10 a.m.
  • Nov. 10 from 8-10 a.m.
  • Dec. 1 from 8-10 a.m.

Personal health counseling sessions for CU4Health will also be available in the Fike Recreation Center’s Wellness Zone on the following Thursdays this fall:
