Summer bicycle round-up underway

Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services is conducting a summer bicycle round-up prior to the fall 2013 semester to clear campus bike racks of abandoned bicycles and to ensure that no bicycles have been left in illegal areas.

All bicycles parked on campus have been tagged. If you are currently using your bicycle on campus, please remove the tag, and your bicycle will be left alone. On July 1, all bicycles found on campus with a tag still affixed will be impounded. To reclaim a bicycle that has been impounded, please contact Parking and Transportation Services at 864-656-2270.

Bicycles collected from bike racks can be reclaimed free of charge, but those removed from other non-approved areas (trees, light posts, hand rails, or other similar locations) will be subject to a $40 impound fee.
