Clemson’s Facilities department reports that lane closures/shift along Highway 93 from Newman Road to Cherry Road will impact traffic patterns from Monday, June 26 through Friday, June 30. The two west-bound lanes from Newman Road to Cherry Road will be closed. One lane of the east-bound lanes will be closed. The west-bound traffic will be shifted onto one of the normally east-bound lanes.
This closer/shift is needed in order to install a storm water structure required to protect the water quality of the storm water runoff from the Douthit Hills project.
Flashing signs will be placed in the area to alert drivers.
