Two-factor authentication required for iROAR beginning May 15

As part of the ongoing strategic University-wide security initiative, CCIT to date has successfully implemented two-factor authentication (2FA) on several critical systems, including HR Peoplesoft and the Virtual Private Network. We will continue to implement 2FA on further critical systems, continuing with the Banner/iRoar system next.  As of May 15, two-factor authentication will be required for all Clemson users to log in to iROAR.

Two-factor authentication is a simple process that requires a secondary confirmation of your identity at login using a physical device in your possession (app, text message or phone call). Clemson University uses Duo Security for two-factor authentication. For more information or to enroll in 2FA, visit our two-factor authentication portal at 2fa.clemson.edu and view a video tutorial.

Increased in-person and remote support will be available for all users following the change. The addition of two-factor will significantly improve the protection of student and faculty data.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CCIT Support Center at 864-656-3494, ITHELP@clemson.edu or support.clemson.edu.
