Bobby Dale Barnett, 92, emeritus professor and former chair of the poultry science department, died Feb. 19, 2020.

He was employed by Clemson University more than 30 years from 1956 to 1987. He also was associate director of the Experiment Station and assistant to the vice president of  agriculture and natural resources.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; sons Ron (Kathy) of Easley and Paul (Janice) of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter Susan Rohrabaugh (Mike) of Norcross, Georgia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery on the Clemson campus. A service will be at the Clemson Church of Christ with the date and time to be determined.
