John H. Hawkins, 73, of Central, died Dec. 19, 2014. He was a battalion chief for the Clemson University Fire Department, who retired in 1998, after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, his family, and his friends.
Funeral services were held Dec. 23 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
