John Richard Aspland, 82, of Clemson, died Sept. 8, 2019. He was a professor in the department of Material Science and Engineering. Aspland retired from Clemson in 2006 after 24 years of service to the University and was awarded professor emeritus status.
Aspland is survived by his survived by his wife, son, family and friends. He is also remembered by his extended family in both England and Germany.
