Lane Miller, retiree, alumnus – June 30, 2022

Lane Duncan Miller, 73, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Dominion Senior Living in Clemson.

Miller was 1966 graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and a 1974 graduate of Clemson University.  He worked at Clemson University for more than 30 years, starting with the Athletic Department. He then worked and retired as the associate director of Residential Facilities, then was project coordinator at CU-ICAR and worked in Land and Capital Asset Stewardship until 2016.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Jan, is his son, Gregg Miller and his wife, Kim, of Taylors; daughter, Allison Wingard and her husband, David, of Duluth, Georgia; two granddaughters; brothers, Whirl Miller and Bett of Clemson, Ray Miller and Cathy of Olathe, Kansas, Roger Miller and Mary of Lamar, South Carolina, and Steve Miller of Clemson.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Harris officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
