Vernice Waddell, 57, of Anderson died Friday, Jan. 11. Waddell worked as a building/grounds specialist in the university housing department for nearly 10 years.
She is survived by her dearest friend, Lisa Estes, two children, family and friends.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at South Pointe Baptist Church, 1319 Highway 29 S, Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
Woodlawn-Sosebee Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
