Pat Wannamaker, 92, of Clemson, Professor Emerita of Languages, died December 21, 2021.
Wannamaker was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and earned her Ph.D. from Louisiana State University. She was a longtime professor at Clemson University and was the founder/director of the Language and International Trade Department.
She retired in 1988 after 24 years at Clemson.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol W. Shuler, M.D., and her husband, Charles, of Seneca, and Anne Jones of Florida; and five grandchildren.
