Robert ‘Bob’ Brackett, Staff, Office of Undergraduate Studies – December 15, 2023

Clemson University mourns the death of Robert “Bob” Brackett, an assessment support specialist in the Office of Undergraduate Studies. He passed away on December 15, 2023.

“Bob Brackett was a valued colleague and good friend to all of us in Undergraduate Studies,” said Sean Brittain, associate provost and dean of Undergraduate Learning. “Bob loved working with students and was always willing to go the extra mile to support the faculty. He will be dearly missed.”

Brackett was hired on August 31, 2012, and totaled more than 11 years of service to Clemson University.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides grief counseling to students. Any student who wants to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451. An after-hours CAPS counselor can be reached by calling 864-656-2451 and selecting option 2 to speak to a counselor. 

Counseling services are also available to faculty and staff through ComPysch, the University’s Employee Assistance Program provider, at 866-365-0813.
