Sherry Smith Biggers, retired senior lecturer in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, passed away at the age of 77 on March 16, 2024.
She was hired by Clemson University on August 15, 1996, and retired with more than 18 years of service in 2015. While teaching at Clemson, she earned her Ph.D. in Education from the University in 2006. She also co-authored a calculus textbook still used at Clemson.
Biggers received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn and her master’s from Duke.
